This is our third year participating in the great Rhinebeck PorchFest. If you've never been to this event, this is the year to come, with over 150 Hudson Valley musicians performing on 32 different porches throughout the village of Rhinebeck from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Flash Company will take the stage (or take the porch?) at #10 Platt Avenue at 12:30 for a 45 minute set of traditional Irish songs and 'chunes. Bring a lawn chair or take a seat on the comfortable front lawn of #10 Platt Avenue, and let us regale you with some old favorites and some new ones! Then stroll through town to enjoy a varied smorgasbord of musical styles on porches spread out over a few blocks of the village of Rhinebeck. The day will be capped off with a parade leading to the corner of Platt Ave and Mulberry St, where Professor Louie and the Crowmatix will play a set of music guaranteed to get your feet moving! (And the Crowmatix feature our old friend, John Platania, guitarist for many years with Van Morrison, Don Mclean, Chip Taylor, and a raft of other famous names too heavy to drop here!)
